Hold Harmless

As a volunteer, you agree to defend, hold harmless, indemnify and release the State of Wisconsin, the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System, and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, their officers, employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all liability, loss, damages, costs, or expenses which are sustained, incurred, or required arising out of the actions of your volunteer efforts.

Required

Remuneration

This position carries no remuneration and you are not eligible for any benefits (i.e. health insurance, worker’s compensation, etc.) There may be certain risks associated with your volunteer activities on campus such as slipping and falling, or other types of injuries (insert other ideas) but since volunteers are not covered by the State's worker compensation program or health insurance, you are advised to maintain your own health and accident insurance.
